FunTech Computer Solutions is a new company with a radical approach to computer upgrades, repairs, and custom system building. We service the East Texas area, with our main office located in Tyler. FunTech was founded in 2008 by Stephan Taylor, and Kyle Ross.

For years, FunTech’s founders witnessed friends and family become frustrated with customer-no- service from the national computer repair/service companies. Invariably, these friends and family members would come to us with their technical questions after an unsatisfactory dealing with one of the large computer-service retail chains. Soon, we were helping friends of friends with their technical difficulties. Eventually, we realized that a need existed that was not being met by any of the current suppliers of computer goods and services—namely, quality products and services, provided in a timely and affordable manner, while always keeping the customer’s best interest in mind, not our wallets. This led to the idea of starting our own business to try and satisfy the local needs of the East Texas community. After doing some planning in late 2008, FunTech was officially founded January 1, 2009.
